Otaki Bowling Club Meets
The monthly meeting of the Otaki Bowiing Club wais held on Tuesday night, Mi*. W. Wilson presiding. ' It was reported that as a resuit of the recent tournament substantial profits were shown. Mr. Horton, in reporting -on the green, suggested work to be carlied, out at the elose of the season," an*d. it was decided'co carry out hisr instructions. iThe centre reported .. ; that on account of the lateness -of the season and a fuil programme, it would be unable to visit Otaki this year, but hoped to be able to make an early visit next season. It was mentioned that at least five club rinks would visit the Petone Central Club on Sunday next. It was deci'ded to close the green on Easter Monday, and then to give any attention needed to the playing surface. The President's' v. Vice-President's match will be played on this day.
