A meeting convened by Mr, J. G. Hprn was held at Kuku reeentiy at whie.h a cricket ciub was forined. For the remainder of the season its activities will be eonfined tp severai friendly games, but next year it is hoped to join the Roro whenua c.ompe'tition, Officers were eleeted as follpws:---President: ,Mr. j. Q. Horn; yiceipresidents: Messrs. E, Hpgg, R. G. j WaU, P, R, Catiey, F, Findsen and T. A. Page,; hon. secretary: Mr. A. Lambert; committee: Messrs.' K. Aanensen, D. Hunter, L. Hoider, E. Pilgrim, $, ®, Horn, Junr,, I. Horn and W. Mudge, J-unr, It was decided to hold a danee on Easter Batnrday night to raise funds tp purchase playing equipment fpr cornpetition games. A further meeting is to be .held toI night to make arrangements for this function.
