■ t AUCKLAND, March 12, There is lilcely to be a big loss in the j shipment of 21,000 eases of oranges and grapefruit whieh has arrived in the Port Huon aeeording to citv traders. The vessel whieh, eame from Liverpooi by w,ay of Jan\aiea, arrived in the ■ stream oan Monday but did- not bertn until Thursday. Thefirst 1000 eases u.n loaded showed signs of waste and piueh of the flint had to be repaelced. A week or ten days is expeeted to eJap.se betore the rest of the shipment is unloaded.- This is beeause of the restricted hours being worked on the Auekland wkarves. Only a small proportion of the eargo was handled on Thursday and a few eases this morning. . There was no work in the afternoon beeause of the wet weather and unloading will not be resumed until Monday morning.
