Big Magic Show In Otaki

The big magic show provided by Mr. Geo. Tollerton and his clever company performed to an almost full house at the Civic Theatre on Wednesday night, The shoyr was a very bright one and the audience was kepc in a; ripple of laughter from start to fi'nish. The singing was much above the ordinary and Miss Olga Kay was an oUtstanding artist. - She has a very pleasing voice, which was heard to great advantage. Mr. Geo, Tollerton was an entertainment in himself, while Miss Joan Reed, who performed the Mexican hat dance, drew forth hearty plaudits from all parts of the house. Other performers were equally pleasing, while the "Punch and Judy" show was an entertainment that delighted both old an-d young. The jokes througllout the performance were original. Mr. Tollerton, announced that ft was his intention to pay a return visit, and if so he will be assured of a packed house. . ' . .
