Honorary Members' Day On Croquet Lawns
The highlight of the Levin Crouet Club's activities this week was honorary members' day. With bright sunshine and congenial surroundings, a very pleasant social afternoon was spent. The president, Mrs. W. Bull, welcomed the guests. Competitors were keenly contested, . the winners being as follows: Oolf .croquet, Mrs. Miliies; Aunt Sally, Mrs. Gordon; ladder Mrs. Spencer, On behalf of honorary members, Mrs. C. Sherwood thanked the club for the enjoyable afternoon. Matches played during the week i esulted as f ollows : — Sherwood Cup final: Otaki Municipal; Walker Cup final: Mrs. W. BullBrown Buttons : Mesdames Gilmour and Williams beat Mesdames Pme and- Holdaway 26 — 8, Mesdames Dalzell and Hynes beat M-sdames Gilmour and Williams z6 21, Worsfold Badges: Mesdames Pin'e and Hynes beat Mesaames Gilnxour and Holdaway 26
