WELLINGTON, March 8. The introductio'n of goo'd conduex (badges in the. R.N.Z.A.F. and en.titiement to pay for th'eni was aunounceu i^his evening by the Minister of Def ence /,Hon. F. J ones) . He said tne conditions relating to the ' award, f ori'eituro and restoration of the badges would follow the. appropriate provisions as laid down in the King 's " Regulations. Good eonduct badges not exeeeding two in number may be awardeo , to ai'rman below the rank of acting' sergeant or pilot IX, nf/vigator II. signallor II, engine'er II, gunner II. Tne qualifying periods of service. are oue badge five years, two badges ten years?? Eaeh badge entitles the airmah to six* pence per day until promoted to tne rank of sergeant pilot II, navigator 11, signaller II, gunner II, or gunner II.
