WELLINGTON, March 9. "Some of the Dominions — and some of the larger Dominions, tqo — are making a brave display on paper with air equipment that is not the best," said Air Chief Marshal Sir -Keith Park, in an interview today. "They are giving themselves and the rest of the Empire quite a false sense of security. They are mounting their magnificent pilots on a lot of Old junk. It is not even good training to mount young men of air crevVs on obsolete eraft, and to train air force organisation about outdated equipmenti It is bad training. It would be far Jbetter to have a smaller force mounted in jet fighters, and otherwise handling fully modern equipment."
