_SYDXEY, March 8. Two boatloads of "pirates" were spilled into heavy surf at Tamarania beach, Sydney, and two "ladies of the gay nineties ' ' rescued two girls from drowjiing. Surfmen sheo their disguises and, in eontmori with colleagues at six other Sydney beaches, did- theirtshare in rescuing from drowning 112 people. X 0 loss of life ocenrred around Syd.ney, but at ATewcastle- beach two vouths were swept off a rock and drowned while 50 people watched helplessly. Lifesavers reeovered the bodies.
