In a * singles mateh for the Thelma Brooch, the holder, Mrs. Forster, beat Mrs. Stevens 20-— 12. The Lett Brpoches pairs competition on Thursday rqsulted in a win for Mesdames McKinstry and Stevens (s) . . For the klranawatu ladies' championship at Palmerston North on Wednesday, the local club will be represented by the following : Mesdames, Forster, Lacey, C. Walker, Gibson (s) .
