Results so far are: — Eour-men motor event, eoiled hose, dry final: Stratford, 25 I-5secs., 1;: Petone, 27 l-5secs., 2; Reefton, 27 4-5 sec's., 3; Addington Railway and Patea Ereezing Works (fourtli equal) with 28secs. Tliree-man trailer pump, instantaneous couplings, changing .from water main to water pump: Stratford, 35secs., I; Taumarunui, 37 4-5secs., 2; Patea Ereezing Works, 38 2-5secs., 3; Lyttelton was fourth. Gilberd memorial, one-man coupling: Hastings, 43 ft-5secs., 1;- Stratford, 55 4-5secs., 2; Patea Freezing Works, 57 3-5secs., 3; Lyttelton was fourth. He completed the manoeuvres in 43 * asec., compared with the seco'nd "best timo of 55 4-5sec. put np by the .Stratford Brigade. The Patea Freeziar Wo'r.ks was third in 57see. and Ly ..eiton fourth m 60 2-5sec. Twenty-seven Dngades entered.
