Mrs. J. W. Martin presided over the monthly ' nie'eting df the Fresbyterian Ladies' Guild. "Proceedings opened .with Bible reading and prayer, aftef / which/ yoiitine business was tranSacted. ' " The Rev. J. WT..Martih gave a most interesting ta-lk on necromancy, which 'was greatly appfeciated by those members > present. Following the lecture, • members joined in a keen discussion on the subject. The formal meeti'ng closed with prayer, after ; which a delightful afternoon tea was served. !
