Disabled soldiers from "Mowai" and the Public Hospital were entertained at "Fernbank," the Jiome of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Monk at Reikorangi. The outing, one of many to the Monk homestead, was under the auspices of the Waikanae subrcentre of the Red Cross. - . ■ • Lunch • was- -ser.ved- on the dawns under .the shade of the; trees,; after. which a ..photograph albu'm, the work of one of the disabled 'men, was presented to the Red Cross. !
