A ,-joint meeting of Gabinet ancl the Oouncil of Defence,. was held in Parlitinient- Buildings today when there wero discussions witlr the Gommanders-in- ( hief, Far East, who are at present pay ing a liaison visit .to New Zealand. They are Eir Hiigh Llovd, Air Officer Gommanding, Far East 7 Rear-Admiraf • aslon and ra j tir- Ge n.cral RednianT Ghief-of-.StafF to Sir Iliigh RTtChie. New Zealand Ohiefs-of-Etaff and .'the Govern ment representatives of Britain and Australia were also present, Yesterdav meetings were held between the Ghiefs-of-Btaff and Commanders-in-Ghief, . Fa !
