Court Sequel To Raid By Police
WAIROA, March 4. A raid was carried out'by the Wairoa pojice on premises situated in Frasertown Road suspedted' of being used as a common gaming house. In an outhouse was found a number of men gambling, and as a resuit of the raid the occupier off the premises and 10 others appeared in the. Police Court- yesterda.v before Messrs. "V. E. Winter and G. A. Thompson, J's.P. occupier, Phillip Vivian Roy ONeiH, marned, aged 48, labo'urer, was fined £26 and the others found there £2 each.
