A major battle is reported around Ohui clioW 120 nnles southeast of Mukden where Government mechanised colnmns from North China are attempting to clear tlie Mukden-Peiping railway These reinforcements began their at taek more than three weeks ago but stubborn Communist resistance liad tlirown them back. Deports from Peiping say the Communists are at temp^ing to overrun Alukden before tlm thaw sets in.
