TWO JOCKEYS SUSPENDED

NEW PEYAIOUTH, Eeb. 29 Two jockeys were suspended, L. H. Clilford for one year and B. George for * two months, by tlie judicial committee of the Egiuont Racing Club, after a protracted iiupury into the failing of Equxtare in the Normanby Trial Handicap on the second day of the club '3 meeting at Hawera, on Saturday. The committee found Clilford, who rode Chief Eox, guilty of interfereuce, of giving fal.se and misleading evidence, , of improper behaviour to oliicials and riders, and of threatening behaviour tov riders in' the race. George, who rode Winsome Lad, was found guilty oi giving false and misleading evidence.
