Beceived -Sunday, 7.0 p.m. LONDON. February 28. The overthrow of Czechoslovakia was a danger ^gignal inevitably reminding the world of 1939, said Mr. Eden in a speech at Leamington. Czechoslovakia 's second surrender of politieal liberties had been imposed by methods more subtle than Hitler's but no less ominous and sinister. The power of a police State was already at Work in Czechoslovakia. Mr. Eden, prging- that Britain and United States should lntograte their efforts with those of other .western Powers to thc iullest, said^ Britain and United States pnist some day travel in the direction of that eollaboration'and the longer a decision was postponed, the greater price mankind would pay. He added that no western union would be conjpl'ete withoutItaly a country which, after a period of faseism,. was seeking to I'ebuild a Parliamentary goverhmeiit and practisp freedom in daily lil'c. Italy niust be heartened., sustained and giv.en every practical help — now.
