Two Attempts To Derail Trains Foiled
AUCKLAND, Feb. 29. In two separate attempts to dergil traffie, four steel fish-plates and a sleeper were placed on the main soutii rgilway line at Pu'rewa tunnel about four miles from Auckland station on friday night. The plot w?ik thwar'ted b.v the watchfulness of tbe crems on trains p.aasing on the inward track and they were responsible for the obstruction being removed before an aceident oeeurred.
