British Soldiers Shot In Jerusalem Street

Received Friday, 10.15 a.m. JERUSALEM, Feb. 19. Jews crept up behind three British soldiers in a crowded Jerusalem street and shot them in the back, killing one and wounding the other two. The Jews, as the soldiers collapsed on the pavement, grabbed their rifles and rushed off. The British United Press correspondent says the shooting was a retaliation for the deaths, last week, of four Jews whom. the British allegedly arrested and released in Jerusalem's Arab quarfcer. Seven Jews and four Arabs were wounded in attacks on buses between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
