WELLINGTON, Feb. 18. Woollen workers asked tlie Court oi Arbitration today to amend their award to bring rates of pay in iine witli workers in the elothing industry. Mr, G. Delaney said a speeial grouud foi the application was the necessity foi inereased production in the 'industry ' and for restoring proper relationship with the rates. of otlier workers, " Woollen workers asked the Court to grant the 3d an hour increase granted to the elothing industry, bearing in niind that woollen workers had an hourly rate as against a weekly rate in thc elothing trade. Mr, O'Sh'ea, for the eniployers, said the eniployers were agreeable to thc increases 'granted to the elothing tr^dc provided they were for female workerc only. The Court. reserved decision.
