't'iie storm may niean a slight delay in his arrival there. # The British survey reliefeship .lotm Biseoe on Saturday reaehed Adniiraltv Ba.v, in Ihe South Slietlands, where a British base was set up in 15)47, but was not oeeupied during the reeent winter, says a speeial eorrespondent of The Times in a message from Adniiraltv Bay. The base was reopened a month ago by two meii from II.M.S. Snipe and the expedit ion immediately began the ereetion of a new liut to liouse a Britisli oeeupation party of four, as the present hut is iinsuitabie for winter use. rrhe eoininander of the reeently established Argentine hut has now rlelivered two protests against the iniauthorised entry of the British ship into Argentine waters and the ereetion of the hut on Argentine territory. Notes asserting British sovereignty have been delivered in reply. After the eompletion of the hut, the .fohn Biseoe will go to Ilope Bay, on the Antaretie mainland.
