Tennis Club's Competition
— In the third foun'd of the Levin Tennis Club's competition for the president's trophy, played last Saturday, three players obtained the possible 18,polnts. They Were Mrs. Greenaway^ Miss Hocking and P. Nichol. Other sCores were; Miss N. Fletcher and Miss Hooker, 17; R. Desgrand, W. Leach ahd J. Cortishley, 15; Miss A. Fletcher, P. Hewitt and P. Whitham, "14; K. Beyer, 13; Miss Maclean and Miss Jackson, 11; R. Antcli'ff, 10; Miss Price and P. Mercer, 9. Two sets only: Miss Marsh, H> Miss Chap-^y man-Cohen, 9; Miss Green 8. JT Next Saturday the fourth rountf o'f the . captain's trophy will be played, while the first B team goes to Shannon and the C team to St. Joseph's. The second B team has a bye. Bb'th the men's ahd 'la'dies' ladders *are undergoing almbst continuous alterations, most positions heing keenly contested. Congratuiations Wefe ektended tb Miss Mary Xarauti, who has woh hef Way up to No, 1 position -on the ladies' ladder.
