Wedding Unites Levin And Otaki Families

iLfevin and Otaki families were uhited recently with the wedding of Dorothy Eunice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Hough, of Levin, to DOnald Herbert, son of M'r. .ahd Mrs. W. Cudby, of Otaki. St. Mary's Ahglican Church, Levin, had heen prettily decOrated with white roses apd peach shaded hydrahgeas. The ceremOny was periormed by Rev. G. B. Stote-Blandy ahd Mr. J. W. Hayfield presided at the organ. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a frock of white embossed satin, with embtoidered tulle veil and coronet of orange hlossoms. Her bouquet was of white gladioli and .roses. She w"as attended by her sister, Miss E'va Hough, who was attired in peach embossed silk, with a bouquet of toning gladioli and roses. Mr. Selwyn Hughes, of Otaki, was bestman.

Aft.er the ceremony a reception was held in the Weraroa Hall, where the tables were beautifully decorated with jDink carnations. ihe bri^ie's mother wore a hrown cOStume, with hat to nlatch. "The bfidegroom's mother chose a navy ensemble, with toning hat and a spray of autumn fiowers. Many co'ngratulatory telegrams and cables from the foride's relatives in AUstralia and Great Britain were received. . For travelling the bride was attired in a green linen frock, with black beaded trimmings, and a fawn coat and black accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Cudby 's future home will be in Otaki.
