Rotary Conference
AUCKLAND, Feb. 16. The opinion that the Rotary Interuational organisation, whose members -were prepared to place service before self, eould be a powerful influenee for lasting world' peace, was expressed by the Mayor, Mr. .1. A. C. Allum, at a receptiOn given to delegates to the second annual conference of Rotary Clubs of the 52nd (New Zealand) • district tonight. The functioc, which was attended by repvesentatives of all Rotary Clubs, from Palmerston North northwards, was the first official gathering of the conference which will be held in Auckland until Thursday afternoon. f ,
