NAPIER, Feb! 15. CrasMng 40 feet from a transformer in the yard of the borough powerhou.se at 3.15 p.m. today, Mr. Mark Marcer, married, foreman of the electrieal branch of the Napier Borough Council. suffered severe burns when he came in contact with 3000-volt lines; Mr. Marcer also suffered painful gashes to the head and was admitted to the Napier Public Hospital. Mr. Marcer was making an inspection , of the transformer when he slipped and I grabbed at the wires to save his fall. Both his arms were bui;nt from wrist to elbow.
