CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 15. An inquiry into the collision between Tom Gundy and Positive in the Wigram Handicap, was opened at Addington on Saturday and adjourned until next Saturday when it is hoped J. F. O'Connell,, driver of Tom Gundy, will be able to give evidence. Payment of second and third dividends has been withheld. O'Connell was dislodget' from the sulky when Tom Gundy, Positive and Bonny Scott were in the lead two furlongs from home. The erowd gasped- in horror as O'Connell fell in. the path of a bunched field. He was admitted to hospital with eoncussion. His . condition is Teported to be satisfactory.
