TIMARU, Feb. 15. Rex Kopu hlamaru, aged 14, was kifled this. afternoon when he- touched . an electric poweivline on top oi a tower on the south side of the Temuka River. M amaru was witli a. party of Uovs who were elimbing up and down the towers .which earry the power lines from Lalce Coleridge. ' On reachiug the top of a tower he toid his. companions that he • would touch one of the wires. There was a flash and Mamaru fell to the gi-ound with his clothihg bnming.
