NOISY WOMEN INVADE PARLIAMENT.

" When told to.be quiet they began to chqjit, "We want Griffiths." (Minister of -Natipnal Insui',ance). We want justice. We want a Minister. We want pensions at 55." Half a dozen policemen ad.vanced on them, but the diffieulty w.a.s to pick out the noisy ones, they all looked so peaceful. However, about 20 were shepherd ed 'out to thp street, The Qthers remained for some time, and- burst into ■ booing and hissing as the Wpeaker, Col pnel Clifton Brovvn, was, leaving. Tlie demonstration had begun about six hours earlier, when several hundred women who liad met at Caxton Hal. went to Westmanster to plead, theii. case. They were not satislied when Mr Griffiths told a deputation of women M.P.'s that under the new National As sistance Bill unmarried vyomen nnight be eligible for certain benelits to which they w'ere not before entitled. A^out 150 women got into the lobby.
