At the request of the Shannon Borough Council, Mr. V. J. Mr. Cottle was not over optimistic of Shannon's chances in the immediate future, but suggested that the council make a case, including all information available, in support of the proposal and present this to the hospital board. The matter would receive his support when" it came before the board, concluded Mr. Cottle. '■ Prior to leaving the meeting, Mr. Cottle was thanked for his visit by the Mayor, Mr. D. A. Fitzgerald.
