Early in the sale values were easier for inferior and ordinary sorts but later prices for these sthbilised and remained firm at Mondays rates. The official report states that a catalogue of 19^000 bales was offered. it represented the second portion of the 38,600 bales allocated to the sefies. A full bench of buyers was in attendance. The selection wag very similar to that submitted on the flrst day, Prices remained firm with perhaps erraticness in lines showing a.substantial fault, heavy seed and log stains. Competition was more widely spread than on the first day of the sale. The range of prices published after Monday's sale fully covers today 's sale.
