Despite a long spell on guard duty in Tokio the two" teams from the Second Battalion showed littie laek of forni on- their return to the. eompetition on Saturday, though a great display oi teamwork combined with physieal litness gave the undefeated Third Bat' talion A team a elose 13 to 6 victory over the only. other unconquered side, Seeond Battalion B, av Yamaguchi. The -Seeond Battalion 's. mpvements were individually soundy but ' lackecl ilnish. Second" Battalion A marked their return to the field by scoring an .easy. victory over Third Battalion B; — 39. to 6. Fast tricky movements baffled the opposition to allow the Second Battalion backs to eross the line time and again and the issue was never in doubt. The Engineers had more difficiilty in overcoming Ascords by 11 points to 9 ih an exeiting game at Chofu. Satur-, day's game between the Medics and the Sep was postponed.
