Former Vicar's Wife Sends Interesting Letter

In 'the February issue 'of The Messenger, Rev. J. H. Datsoh states that he reeeived a letter from Mrs. Mary H. Aitkens, of Ganges, British Columbia, Canada, asking for the birth certificate of her daughter who was born in Foxton in 1895 when her husbarid was the vicar there. The writer said that they were at Foxton from 1893 to 1896 when her husband's health broke down and they had to leave and eventually return to England. Her husband was .appointed to Stanstead where they staye'd for 11 years. They then decided to go to Canada. Her husband who had reI tired, died last November. She had !lost contact with her many friends ! and helpers in the Foxton and 'Shannon distriets and would llke | to hear from any of them who rejmember her. j Mrs. Aitken asked that she be jkindly remembered to any of her ■ old friends who are left and stated that she was now 89 years of ase.
