HOROWHENUA COLLEGE EVENING CLASSES pVENING Classes will commence on Monday, February 15. Enrol.ments will be taken at the" College office as follows: — 9 aj.ni. to 4 p.m. daily. 7 p.'m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, and Thursday, February 12. Enrolments will be accepted for the following classes:—" Monday: Dressmaking, Cookery, Motor Ensrineering Theory, Bookkeeping, Art. Thursday: Dressmaking, Fitting and TUrning, Accountancy, Shorthand Typing, Carpentry and Joinery, Drama. Other classes may be opened on request if a minimum enrolment of six' is forthcoming and a tutor available. Fees: A maintenance fee of 2/6 and the cost of material used in practical classes are payable by all students, otherwise tuition is free to students over the age of 19 and to students from 15 to 19 years of age who take an approved course of two subjects. The welcome will take . place in Queen Street, in the vicinity of the Automobile Association's Office, on Thursday next, February 12, 1948, at 10 a.m., immediately following which, this renowned musical combination will render a short programme of music. As this will be the band's first stop in the course of its Dominion tour, it is hoped that the residents of Levin and District will turn out in large numbers to welcome our visitors. H. B.
