DUNEDIN, Feb. 9. Twelve monfchs ago the Government had hoped that it would be possible to lift rationing controls on sugar and tea at the end of 1947 but it had been founa impossible to build.np adequate reserve stoeks, said Mr. P. G. Connolly M.P., in deputising for the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Mr. Nordmeyer, at the opening session of the New Zealand Master Grocers ' Federation.
