Pcrsondd Mrs. A. Clark and her two children of Woodville, _are spending a holiday with Mrs. Clark's mother, Mrs. Tregill, Grand Street. Card Winners The card tournament conducted by 4 the Poutu Pah Improvement Committee in Laurvig's Hall last evening attracted a good attendance of players. * Winners wero Mrs. Thomson, Senr., and Mr. R. Roberts. Unusual Tennis Result The tennis match piayed between St. Joseph's Club, Levin, and the Shannon Club last Saturday resulted in a 'draw, both teams winning eight sets and 105 games. This is j the first time that local club officials recall a game being drawn in games and sets. .
