SOME KEEN BOWLING ON OTAKI GREEN

A very successful "tournament was held on the Otaki Club's green on Saturday in perfect weather and on a keen green. Several rinks were present and the games played were of an interesting nature. Four rinks tied with four games each out of five, Murphy (Plimmerton) , Pike, Walsh, and Merwood (Otaki)., In the semi-final, Pike beat Murphy and Walsh beat Merwood, while in the play-off, Pike beat Walsh. The former had with him JepSon (2) and Whitehorn. Others competing were: Baker (thi-te games), Cahill Henderson, and Symonds (two each) , Southgate and Morton nil.
