catering, and other matters haa be'en fihalised. The proceedings would comprise a jubilee ball> a field day,- bahguet and.smoke cqncert, and a further field day at the Winiata Homestead. After some interestihg diScussions and suggestions, the Officebearers were elected. The Gov-ernor-General, Sir Bernard Freyberg, V.C., is to.be approached for his consent to be appointed as one of the joih't patrons. The folloWing officers were elected: — Joiiit patrons:' Colonel C.
