I usually ask the elder girl to see that the other two do their work, as i cannot flnd time to see them all." Father of 12-year-old girl: "The children do 'their lessons alright. The only thing is to see, that they do them correctly. Most of them are in new classes and 'the work is strange to them." 1 Father of two boys, one aged 9 and the other' going to eoflege: "The average parent has been away from school for 15 years. We flnd the modern school methods very interesting but also Very difficult." Mother of two boys, one aged 11 and one aged 9: "Thank goodness there are school teachers. When I want to' do my house'work, the boys want to 'do their lessons and' when I- am free, they want -to play. HOWever, it will be only for a short time and I think they are' doing very well." Father of two boys, one aged 10 and one aged 9: '"The children are very keen and my wife and J are pleased to see them doing their work. Actually, in my opinion, the correspondence work is ffb substitute for school. However, the children seem to be quite happy.and it opens . up a field of individual initiative for them." From this survey, it is possible to see that the. children are doing the work and the parents seem to be co-operating in every way.
