Early Morning Fire In Gisborne Stables
*' ' GISBORNE, Feb, 6. Fire early this morning destroyed a large stahles. and garage , on the* property of Mr, H. H. Dods at Repongaere, 11 miles from Gisborne. • The blaze had a good hc4d when it was discovered at 5,30 a,m., but the owner managed to save his car and two tractors from the garage. There were no horses in the stables. The . Gisborne Fire Brigade,. answering a call by the owner, assisted in saving an adjoining house and outbuildings.
