Received Wednesday, 11.55 a.m. JERUSALEM, Feb. 3. Two Arab prisoners escaped from the Central Prison when an Arab barrd broke into the prison today. The prisoners escaped under cover of sevdTal bombs and heavy gunfire* which their, Arab rescuers put up. A Blitish constable was wounded during th6 20 minute attack. The British United PresF correspondent says that the prisoners escaped before the guards reached the gap in the prison wall which the bombs had breached. An' Arab gang in Haifa's main street killed a British constable and seriously wounded aiiother. The Arabs attempted to seize the policemen's rifles. The police resisted and the Arabs then fired, hitting both policemen.
