FRIENDLY R.S.A. TOURNEY

Though the R.S.A. tournament was aban'doned on Sunday, an op,en tournament was held for the eritertainment' of the visitors. No less than 22 rinks participated, many being from a distance. The. Otaki and Otaki. Railway greens were played on, and as they were in good order interesting play resulted. On the Otaki green results were as follows: — Walker and McLean four games each, McPherson, Thomson, Robertson, Wilson and McNulty three each, Leslie and Bramley two each, Neas, Allenby, Newson, .Bailey, Jenkins and Jackson one each, Hale nil. At the Railway green Dr. Hunter and Fletcher secured three wins each, Eaton 2, Southgate and Morgan one each. In the semi-final of five heads, Walker 6, beat McLean 4. • In the final with Dr. Hunter (Levin) , the Kilbirnie rink (Walker) , secured a win 5 — 1. Fine assistance in the arranging of the games was rendered by Mr. Claude Grey.
