He beat the ..Tamaican, Herb AIcKenley, by Jive feet, with Alorris Curotta inches'away third. ICeen jiulges estimate that, eonsidcring the wind, his run was equal to 10 2-osec. I'he secretary-treasurer of the Aus-' Iralian At li\V,ic Association, ilr. A. Hodson, said that during tlie past week Treloar lia'd stamped himself as tlv-3 gveatest Australian sprinter of his generation, and possibly, of all time.
