Since then he has performecl a number of operations 011 people who had been given up. as hopcless cases by cancer specialists. The most recent deinonstration was held on Wednesday before an audienee comprising specialists, a Roman Catholic priest and several mirsing nuns, Bress representati.ve's and Mr. C. C. Lazzarini, a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly. As a rcsult of this and other repiarkable operations carried out OU people in. advanced- stages of the disease, Mr. R. J. Hallstrom has offered Mr. Br-aund £20.000 to establish a cancer clinic in Sydney. Mr. Braund has shown constant fear of being taken for a crank or quack. He elaims that he has aetually been seeking help for 50 years, and is eager to commence general treatment at once. His idea is to train three yoipig doctors in his mcthods for 12 months, or longer if necessary, eoneealing nothjng from them.
