Stalin Appears at Lenin Rally
» L03STDON, Jan. 22. Atarshal Stalin appeared m public in Moscow last night for the first time Since reports early this month that he was ill. AIoscow Radio says a storm of applause greeted him as he appeared on tlie platform at' the Lenin memorial rally at the MoscoxV Opera House. The secretary of the Communist Party 's central committee, Mr, M. A. Suslov, addressihg the rally, accused Americans of pl&nning and executing armed, intervkntiou against the "frec-dom-loving peoples of Greece, China and Iiidonesia. " He hdded, according to the I radio: "British nnl Ameriean imperialists are rushing to .share'the sam.e fafe as Germany. "
