S.M.'s Warning About Boys And Air Rifles
WELLINGTON, Jan. 23. "Attention has now been drawn co this offence. This case will be dismissed, but others will not be treated in the same way," said Mr. H. J. Thompson, S.M., in the Magistrates' Court today. He was commenting on a case where a man was chargsd with supplying an air rifle to his son under the age of 16. The father said he was unaware it was an offence. Tlie« boy, while playing with it, had accidentally hit another boy riding a bicycle along a street.
