DANNEVIRKE, Jan. 20. Shops on the ground floor which suffered were: — "Moneysworth" Dcpartmental Store, proprietor, Mr. S. Alexander, completeJy burnt out.

Arch Mills, tobacconist. United Friendly Societies' Dispensary. Maeder Hairdressing Salon. Valet'Dry Cleaners. Patel Brothers, fruiterers. The upstaifs rooms of A. W. Pike, dentist, were destroved and apartments on the upper floor were also damaged. Some occupants o^ the apartment.and some .shop owners, salvaged some oi all of. th.eir goods.
