Britain's Children Stood Up Well To War Trials
Received Wednesday, 10.10 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 20. _ S'chool children of 1939-45, who lived through seven years of shortage and stress, many of them bombed out, evacuated, or separated from their parents, have emerged with their health unimpaired and possibly improved, says; the Ministry of Education's Chief, Medical Officer, in a report covering the seven years. f The child population generally' stood up to the aerial bombardment with the same courage andj fortitude as the aduits, and appar- ! ently the bombing had no serious' psychological effects on them.
