Mr. Donaldson, who was not in-jured, said: "I had not the faintest " idea wliat happen'ed. Splinters were flying down on me and I cleared out of the cabin as quickly as I eould." The Coronation 's bow was splintered but otherwise appeared litt'e damaged.
