University Appointment The appointment of a full-time vice-chancellor of the University of New Zealand is to be considered by the finance committee of the Senate and a report will be made to t-he next meeting. This was decid'ed at the meeting of the Senate when Sir Thomas Hunter (Wellington) moved that the Senate consider the appointment of a fulltime vice-chancellor. Sir Thomas Hdnter said the university would lose- the a-dvantages of its new organisation if it did not have the services of a full-time vice-chancel-lor.
