Progress In Levin Tennis Club's Competition
At the conclusion of two rounds in the Levin Tennis Club's competition for the President's Trophy, Mrs. Porter leads with 33 points, Mrs. Antcliff is second with 32 points and R, Desgrande third with 31. Results of the second round played during the weekend were: Miss A. Fletcher and J. Norton 18; Miss Karauti and R. Desgrande 17; Misses Hall and McLean 16; Mrs Porter, Mrs, Antcliff and Miss Chapman-Cohen 15; K. Beyer and P. Nichol 14; Misses Blacklaws and Norton 13; P. Mercer 11; Miss N Fletcher. 10; R. Antcliff 6. There are no competitions set down for next Saturday, so the opportunity will be Yaken to finalise any outstanding games in the club handlcap§. These include the laJies' sjngles between Miss Karauti and Miss Pam Rell, and the final of the men's doubles in which Benning and Mcllraith meet Nichol and Norton, wfip defeated Irving and Fox 9—6 in the semi-finals.
